KCEO aims to improve the environmental conditions at the slum by managing garbage. We partner with local youth groups to collect and sort garbage of families in the program. The plastic bottles and metals are taken to recycling companies while the polythene bags are cleaned and used to make bags, jewellery and other products.

This is both a source of employment for youth groups and also a solution to manage garbage in the slum. The funds raised from the garbage collection and sale of products are used to fund the behaviour change and education programs.
